Hatt continues to be the photographer of choice for celebrities and their
dogs. Recently contacted by The Duke and Duchess of York,
she traveled to England to create portraits of Max and Millie, the Norfolk
terriers in residence at the Royal Lodge, Windsor. Recently
comedians Deb McGrath and Colin Mochrie commissioned
Hatt to create portraits of their Cairn terriers, Fanny and Frisker.

Artist
in Residence Seneca College in Toronto has selected Shari Hatt as their first Artist in Residence. The Seneca College Art Committee expanded their permanent collection in December 2005, with several pieces from Hatt's popular Black Dogs: Series One, which is featured in the book SHARI HATT: DOGS, published by the Southern Alberta Art Gallery. (sold out!) Hatt is currently working on a project with Seneca College involving portraits of farm animals. New Work Shari Hatt recently completed an extended life size portrait series with collaborator Laurie MacMillian, comprised of the legendary Side Show performers at the Coney Island Circus Sideshow in Brooklyn, New York. This project was made possible with the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the co-operation of the Coney Island Circus Sideshow and POD Publishing, NYC. |
